In this blog post I am going to be reviewing Bluehost
I am going to be trying my best to do an honest review about Bluehost
Talk about the good things about Bluehost
And also talking about the bad things about Bluehost
And then I will be sharing what my overall thoughts are about Bluehost
So let’s start this review
What is Bluehost?
Bluehost is a self web hosting service
Which means that you can use bluehost to create a website
This means that bluehost will provide you with a domain name and a server space for your website
And they will give you total control of your website so you can customize it however you want to
It is actually pretty easy to create a website with bluehost if you want to make a website yourself you can check out this tutorial
So when you want to start your own blog or an affiliate marketing website
You need to use a self web hosting service
Unless you are planning on having a slow garbage website that will look unprofessional
If there was a free way of having a professional fast and secure website i would already have one
But that does not exist
Which means that if you are planning on having a professional website and possibly running a business with your website
You need to pay money to use self web hosting serivce
Luckily you won’t be paying hundreds of dollars of month if you are using bluehost for your website
Their plans are dirt cheap which makes bluehost a perfect self web hosting services for people that are hesitant about starting their own websites
Their plans are from 3$-14$ a month which is basically nothing
Your bank account won’t even notice it
You can basically save for bluehost by skipping starbucks for 1 day or something
The good
Okay now that we all know exactly what bluehost is and what a self web hosting service is
It is time to talk about the good things about bluehost
But i will still try my best to not be insanley bias because i will also mention the bad parts about bluehost
The first thing that i want to talk about is something that i just mentioned and that is the pricing of their plans
Their plans are super cheap 3$ a month to have your own professional website that you can customize that is running 24/7 without crashing is pretty crazy
And it also includes a free domain which is bascially a free name for your website
Which is pretty cool because you usually have to pay 15$ a year for a domain name
So yeah their pricing is probably the best part about bluehost
If you want to take a risk and start your own blog or your own business
If you are using bluehost for your website you are not really taking that big of a risk
Because if you don’t like it or it does not work out
The worst possible scenario is that you lose 3$
And that is not a bad scenario at all
Maybe the best scenario is that you end up having a successful blog or a successful business who knows?
Reliable
I have created somewhere between 5-10 websites with bluehost and i have never really had any big problems with it
There has never been an incident where i can’t log into my bluehost account or my website keeps crashing for weird reasons
That has happened to me before with other web hosting services but it has never happened to me with bluehost
So i have to say that it is pretty reliable
Fast and secure
Even though their plans are cheap that does not mean that you will get a slow and unsecure website
My website is currently being hosted by bluehost and it is fast and secure
Having a fast website is something you need to have in 2022
You can not get away with having a slow website because people’s attention spans are incredibly short in 2022
You need a fast website and that is why i highly recommend using bluehost
But now it is time to talk about the bad things about Bluehost
The bad

Not the best self web hosting service
If i am being honest i have used other self web hosting services that i thought was better then bluehost
That does not mean that every self web hosting services is better then bluehost
I would say that Bluehost is one of the best self web hosting services out there
But it is not the best one out there
No free site migration
Currently Bluehost does not offer a free site migration
What does that mean?
It means that if you already have a website that you created with another self web hosting services you can not change over to Bluehost for free
This is not a big deal for me
But I thought i should mention in this my review since other self web hosting services do offer a free site migration
Not the best self web hosting service for a massive website
Bluehost is pretty much the perfect self web hosting service for people that want to start their first blog or just their first website in general
But if you end up having a super successful blog which is a big if
Then bluehost might not be able to handle that large amount of people visting your website as well as other web hosting services
This is nothing to worry about though because it is not like you are going to accidentally have a succesful blog
You should be more worried about how you are going to make your blog successful
Overall thoughts about Bluehost
My overall thoughts is that i think that bluehost is perfect for beginners that want to start their first blog or just a website in general
Although I don’t think that it is the best self web hosting services out there it does not mean that it is bad at all
Their plans are extremely cheap so that everyone can create their own website without really taking a massive risk
I still like bluehost but i will likely choose another web hosting services once this website has more visitors
